I think the guys from StillWater said it best in "Almost Famous." "We play for the fans not the critics." I am in Warrior Finches, and i really dont care if you dont like our music. There are times when i get frustrated with the sound of my band, but i dont care because i know that music is not easy. Making music is an everlasting struggle to come up with the perfect song, even though a perfect song is intrinsically contradictary. Not everyone is going to agree on anything let alone music. The sound of our first album has come from a power struggle to make something original, while still trying to fit in a genre, not something easily done. The statement that we need to stop making music is just stupid. Whether or not you care, i will play music my whole life, be it in a local band struggling to come to terms with their lives and their music simultaneoussly, or on a stage in front of a miilion people, or on a street corner hoping someone will enjoy what i am doing as much as i do and give me a dollar to buy some food. In short, i really do not care if you like our music, if you have constructive criticism we are always open ears, but if you just wanna be an asshole and try to make us mad you have failed. Thats all i have to say, and if you plan on posting something else and trying to argue with me, dont bother, i wont reply, ive got lots of work to do with my band and label. I think that the site is pretty tight. The live footage has great sound quality. "Half Empty" is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time by a local band.
