Moonlight Beach, Sept. 28, 2002

Darl here! Beautiful day, beautiful gig. And the debut of Brian on drums, and their newest song! Don't worry, the switch is only for a few songs.

Club Xanth Sept. 21, 2002

Hello- Darl here! This gig was amazing! The band played great, and the sound was terrific. Some of the fans said that the show was one of our best, and up there with the quality of our last show at Canes, if not better. The bands that played before us were Heavy Metal or Trash Metal groups that scared the hell out of me. Before the Finches played their show, we all had doubts on whether or not they'd make it out alive, but the second they started playing, the crowd grew tremendously, and the Finches rocked the house like no others. The band got to play a 40 minute set which consisted of about 10 songs, both new and old. They even played an encore (Let It Go), because the audience so desired it. Warrior Finches tried to close with the debut of their newest song, "Tribute To The Best Morning Of My Life", which ended up being incredible, everyone loved it; people were even singing along. Everybody felt great after the show, and the street team got rid of a bunch of demos. And as always, the band would like to say thank you to the fans for coming. More shows will be coming up soon, but for now...here are some of the pics from the show. Enjoy!

...more to come

Battle of the Bands @ Canes

ITS DARL!!!(hello_)

Warrior Finches, rock on! This gig was absolutely incredible. The band played great, the sound was awesome, and the fans couldn't have been more supportive. The band would like to thank all of the fans for being there to cheer them on. THANK YOU FANS!!!! (from Jason, Sean and Brian). This gig was sooo much fun to watch, it was amazing! Things were so crazy that people were throwing money and underwear on stage. Lucky Jason got a bra thrown on his mike stand. What can I say? I was impressed. The band's overall sound was excellent, and they all performed well. Their set list got cut by 4 or 5 songs, because the band before them took to much time, but they still rocked the casbah. This was a night to remember in Warrior Finch history.

2002 Pop Rock Show @ LJCDS Outdoor Amphitheatre

Hi this is Darl (hello_)

This past gig, the warrior finches played their hearts out even though Brian's voice was a bit, "raspy", and the sound wasn't the best it could be... but what the hell! During this show, Sean's drumstix would not cooperate with his hands; dropping his drumstix numerous times and luckily catching them in mid-air. The fact that the drumset was slowly moving foward the more he played, didn't help the situation. (Yes, this drumset was not the band's.) It says "Heliocentric", just for your information. Heliocentric is the band that opened for them at the show. (sorry no pictures available) On the last song, they played their hearts out, showing our place in the musical world. Unfortunately, during the solo of the song, Brian completely messed up the guitar solo and caused the song to be ruined, just kidding. Everyone at LJCDS loved us, what made it even better is the fact that they didn't have to haul their own crap, many thanks to Heliocentric and the Sound Department at LJCDS.

Howl At the Moon @ "Uncle Rick's place"

Hi all, its Darl (hello_)

This was one of the "stranger" shows the band played. Not your average "let's all start a mosh pit" kind of party, but more of the "Elvis never died" type of gathering. The scene here was composed mostly of 45 to 60 year old men with beer bellys and extreme back hair. Not to mention the mullets! Some people loved them, some people were too wasted to realize what was happening, and some people still think James Brown went home. But thats another story... Overall, they played well, and came home with a smile on their faces, and cool "Howl at the Moon" T-shirts.The thought of playing there next year makes the members all feel warm and fuzzy inside.

(Sorry for the lack of Pictures) :-(

Senior Grad Party

Darl Here! (hello_)

Now this party, the band agrees on, was the most kick ass gig they've played in a long time. This party was full of "Graduating Seniors...". It was a graduation party for the class 2001. (the school will remain anonymous). The band probably played 3 or 4 forty five minute sets, and they were the only band there. Everyone was having a great time, dancing and getting drunk off their asses. This all happened when the band had our old drummer, Ross Goldman in the band. He was their drummer, while Sean was on the guitar, jammin' his ass off. The party raged all night, until about, 2 maybe, then they all stayed the night at Jason's house. The funny part about this gig, is 1/2 of the people that went to this party, didn't remember what actually had happened, so when all of us asked for an opinion on our band, they simply said, "what band, man?" Overall, this party was extreme fun and a good hit for the band.

2001 Pop Rock Show @ LJDCS Outdoor Ampetheatre

Its Darl! (hello_)

This was the bands first real show. At this performance, they didn't actually play our own material, because it was about a week after they actually had started a band. The band consisted of Ross on drums, Brian on guitar, Sean on guitar, and Jason on bass. The 4 of them had performed "Warning", by Green Day. The crowd liked them, and they got their parents to shout encore, but there was no success. This was where the band's first beginings happened. This is where the band decided we aren't going to be a coverband, which they were at first, and they decided to make their own songs. This performance had marked the stage, where they had become "Void", which was their original band name before Warrior Finches, so have fun looking at the pictures!!
